Saturday 11/15/2008

6:00pm Reception

RSVP at gala@divinemercycare.org by 11/12/2008.  Divine Mercy Care is a unique 501 (c) (3) non-profit, pro-life organization in the Diocese of Arlington.  The Tepeyac Family Center, an OB-GYN practice in Fairfax, is Divine Mercy Care's primary program.  Combining the best of modern medicine with the healing presence of Jesus Christ, Tepeyac Family Center serves women of all races, religions, cultures, and economic backgrounds.  Over the last two years, the Tepeyac Family Center has provided over 250 mothers with charitable healthcare totaling more than $250,000.  Divine Mercy Care's greater vision is to create a Catholic healthcare organization in Northern Virginia that provides a continuum of health services.  This idea is two fold.  First, in the short term, we wish to add specialty practices to our OB/GYN services, such as family and internal medicine, pediatrics, and mental health.  Second, in the long term, we envision a full medical campus.  Additionally, Divine Mercy Care is committed to immediately providing medical education through the Divine Mercy Care Educational Resource Center which provides ethical answers to an array of current medical moral questions.  Divine Mercy Care has a fundamental commitment to the poor while practicing excellent medicine and remaining faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church.  In this way, Divine Mercy Care hopes to become interwoven in the fabric of our community and our culture.  For more information, please visit:
